A key objective of our work is to change the behaviour of an offender. As part of a sentence someone may be ordered to attend a group or individual programme which can help change their behaviour for the better.
The programmes aim to help improve thinking skills, help people get on with others better, reduce anti-social attitudes, reduce the likelihood of reoffending and keep others safe.
Our programmes include:
- Building Better Relationships (BBR) – aims to reduce the harm and likelihood of reoffending for men who are violent or aggressive within a domestic setting.
- Thinking Skills Programme (TSP) - aims to reduce reoffending by teaching basic problem solving skills and develop the way people think and behave.
- Control of Violence for Angry Impulsive Drinkers (COVAID) – aims to reduce aggression and violence by tackling anger, impulsivity and binge drinking behaviour.
